I had lupus prior to the stem cell transplant.

Hi there, I was Diagnosed with MDS RS some 30 years ago and was lucky to graduate into this this wonderful CMML 1 DX 3 months ago. I was stable up until about 2-3 years ago when my Monocytes started to wave at everyone. I ask my Hematologist what was up and he said "ah, don't worry about it, you're boring". In the mean time, everything started hurting and I had no idea why. I MADE the decision to go see a Rheumatologist. The tests results were negative for some things and very positive for others and nothing indicative for an autoimmune syndrome they could point to.
Meanwhile here I am wondering why my fairly fit body is pissed off at me. More tired than I should be for my age and Dx. Everything started to hurt and still my Hem Doc. was calling my case boring. So I MADE the decision to get another opinion and went to a COE where the BMB indicated CMML 1 SF3B1 del 13. Long story longer than it should be, I have no expiration date per my Hem. Doc and no still Dx for my immune system rebellion. In my opinion, don't let these Doctors off the hook for a second. My pissed off attitude came from doing thoughtful searches on Goggle and reading peer reviewed articles.
