Hi Ron. Yes, I have read that having CLL or any type of Leukemia, May lead to other types of cancer. My dermatologist that I go to on a yearly basis said that everyone who has leukemia's are more susceptible to skin cancer. And my eye doctor said that those with leukemia's are 30% more likely to have eye problems. Following is a link that you may find helpful. https://www.cancer.org/cancer/chronic-lymphocyt...

Ron, I am a ten year breast cancer surviver, have been on watch & wait for the leukemia ten years. Live healthy, stay active. Many people live with cancer a long time.

I have read that radiation therapy is a risk factor for leukemia. I was diagnosed with
CLL one year after radiation therapy for breast cancer. I guess I am one of those 5% mentioned above. I'm surprised the number is only 5%. Your blood filters toxins from your body. Since leukemia is a blood cancer, it would make sense that we are higher risk for other cancers.
