Faatigue certainly does seem to be an issue with Leukemia. I hit bottom in January. Rather suddenly. It turned out to be severe anemia, which has largely been resolved with an iron infusion, iron tabs daily and B-12 daily. My next blood test was much better. I am not due for the larger battery of tests for about a month. OH, my oncologist also requested a colonoscopy and endoscopy to make sure that I was not bleeding anywhere. Those have not been scheduled yet, but I am way better, which is a relief. I was truly dragging. I hope you can find a way to aleviate the fatigue.

Robert507-Congratulations on doing what you are able. You are doing a great job living your life as fully as you are able, which is impressive. Sadly, it seems that this low energy thing is something that many of us need to adjust to. Your mention of the greenish bruises on your knees sound so familiar. Bruises just seem to show up around the knuckles on my hands. They do not last long, but it is a weird thing. I am not banging my hands into anything or doing anything particularly difficult. They do not hurt, but...I myself just had two full days of driving, intense extensive conversations with unknown people and presentation of my own. We got home today and I sat down in my comfy chair and awoke 3 hours late. I feel bleery, but not exhausted any more. I am grateful to have made it home before I crashed. Again, even struggling with energy, you are doing a great job of enjoying life's pleasures! thank you for sharing.
