Is A Bone Marrow Biopsy Necessary If A Blood Flow Cytometry Test Shows No Results?
My oncologist is still thinks I may have CLL. My lymphocytes have gone down from 10.8 to 7.3 in 1 days. Then they went down to 4.08. My AST went from 188 to 164 in 1 day. Then they went down to 41. My ALT went from 357 to 330 in one day. Then they went down to 136. The oncologist wants to do a bone marrow biopsy because my liver enzymes are still high, even though they are trending down. I did have an enlarged spleen too. I am confused.ðŸ˜
That is confusing for sure. Maybe express your concern to your oncologist? Also consider a second opinion?
