In short, yes. Alcohol is toxic to all living cells. Some will say it has no effect on leukemia patients, but what they are really saying is “its effect on leukemia are no different then if you don’t have leukemia”. What they’re NOT saying is that all alcohol is bad for any living organism. Not sure that helps you. In the end, personal choice. Having spent 40 years in medicine and clinical sciences, I choose to not drink alcohol myself. But that’s me.
