Hi Lori, yes night sweats are real day and night. Night time your temperature climbs up to fight infections. Then add chemotherapy to the mix and you will be drenched at times . Bedroom is kept dark and at 64 degrees. They happen even in winter months. Lately the night sweats are not as often . Stay strong

You are rally a warm person. My family has a normal temperature of 97.8 so we really have to be sick to have a high temperature. This summer has been very hot but I have not been as hot as you are this summer. This summer I had gone out by 7 AM to do my property tasks. I managed to split 1 1/2 corded of oak. I would be sweating after an hour and it was not even 70 outside. I hope you can cool yourself with a fan which I had done every afternoon and at night to stay dry.

Yes, night sweats can occur during the day as well. In leukemia, sweating can be severe enough to soak through clothing and even drip from your hair. This can happen regardless of the time of day. Here are some tips to manage excessive sweating:

- Change Your Bedding: Use natural fibers like cotton or sweat-wicking materials.
- Keep Your Room Cool: Maintain a bedroom temperature between 60 and 67 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Increase Air Circulation: Use fans or air conditioning to keep the air moving.
- Be Mindful of Your Diet: Certain foods and drinks can exacerbate sweating.

If you are in the "watch and wait" phase, it's important to monitor your symptoms and discuss any changes with your healthcare provider.
