Is There Anything I Can Do To Help With My Shortness Of Breath?
When I am doing a task I notice my breathing change. In the past I was a jogger and my breathing would change and I managed to change my breathing to jog better. Now when I notice my breathing is different I relax (do less) until my breathing recovers? If I had been do a hard task for a long time I will pause to let my breathing recover (15 -30 seconds.) My wife does not allow me to do hard taks over 1 -2 hours. the summer I accomplished some amazing tasks (splitting oak, trash to land fill, etc.) Just take time to relax when you notice your breathing has changed. I think excess white blood cells many be crowding out red blood cells from the lung which could reduce oxygenation to the body.

I wake up short of breath sometimes
I find that shortness of breath,comes and goes. I fight it by going on the treadmill at 15 degrees incline for as long as u can works, or climb stairs,key is to get the heart pumping and lungs expanding. Remember jack la lane, he would do chest expansion exercizes, to expand his lungs.
Anemia can cause shortness of breath.
