Does CLL Speed Up Your Co-morbities Like Osteoarthritis?

A MyLeukemiaTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

In one year I went from mild-moderate osteoarthritis to severe osteoarthritis in my neck and back. My arms go numb and, let's just say it's painful 😣. I know it could be so much worse, but I feel like the CLL magnifies other health issues. And, I don't need any treatment, and my labs are very stable. I am confused πŸ€” why the rapid decline with my osteoarthritis. Any thoughts πŸ’, any suggestions?

My labs have been stable but I still feel crappy! Getting older is probably some of that. Back problems, joint pain, fatigue, it’s all there! I still do the treadmill everyday even for 20 minutes! I try to eat healthy, get good sleep but sometimes that just happen! Tomorrow will be better!πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

My arthritis is worse too since diagnosed. Muscle relaxers help periodically.

I like your walking 20 minutes on the tread mill. Your issue with pain comes with being a senior? Today I managed to walk 2.5 miles doing my tasks at my property. I plan to get back on my tread mill for 30 to 60 minutes? I like to eat healthy and keep busy until something goes wrong with my body? Last month a chunk of oak hit my left ankle and caused an infection. I had a purple foot and lots of pain from the infection. After a week of antibiotics and the pain and swelling decreased and it took 4 weeks to lose the purple bruising. I hope you have better days and tomorrow is better?

I wish had good information that helps things fast. But I will say less salt is a big deal and good. Even slow exercise is a help. I showers even warm. Showers are good. It's hard. It's hard. I have sympathy and I can't good word cuz of Aphasia but a sympathy and warm feelings for you. I hope feel better Tylenol you talk to your doctors but tile helps and ice packs can help sometimes also.
