My Wife Is Tired All The Time , Is There Any Special Thing We Can Do To Help
I pace myself and in the morning I do my tasks. I am good for 1 or 2 hours of doing property work. This summer I cut and split 1.9 cords of oak to burn this winter to warm my house. Now I plan to visit the gym 3 times a week to move weights and jog. I relax in the afternoon. I do not have any pain or health problem except low energy. I think it is very important to eat healthy and exercise. Each person should set their own pace so they do not over strain themselves. During the past two years I have not had the flu or a cold because I take vitamins and supplements like B & B complex (for energy), D, A, zinc, etc. I have discovered that when I am active I am healthy. I also like to be a couch potato and relax.
Thanks Robert..I do a lot of resting in-between.. doing things I try not to over do..do a little here and a little there..
I have been drinking coffee all my life and gleevec and cml does not seem to effect my untectable brl. I drink 3-4 cups in the morning. That gets me going, plus I do push myself to exercize. Experimentation is key, we all are finding ways to find what is best for our situation. Keep busy with anything u are capable of doing and the c-word fads away from our minds. Take care
Might be a good Idea to speak to her Primery care Doctor about taking a antidepressant. Cancer has a way of bringing you mentally down and feeling hopeless. It works for me !
Hi Robert. Just a thought...maybe reach out and call her oncologist to let them know? It's not good to stay sedentary (in bed) all day for any of us. Our bodies need to move or other things in our bodies will start to suffer/shut down and that leads to more medical problems on top of what we already have. Could be too that she is scared, hesitant, and afraid and needs confirmation of some kind that she will be ok....
