I Just Discovered A Small, Painless Lump On The Back Of My Neck. It's About An Inch To The Right Of My C-spine. Could This Be A Lymph Node?
Thank you for your replies. I still have it, and it is still painless fortunately. I'll see my doc in mid-January for a regular checkup and will ask him.
Have your doctor check it out…and yes lymph nodes are in the neck.
Yes we have lymph nodes in the back of our neck and ears I have them here in back of my neck and behind my ears very painful when swelled up
I think a lump in the skin as just be a blocked sweat gland? We do have a sweat problem from high energy use in the body so sleeping on your back could cause impacted lumps under the skin? I never heard of a lymph gland in the BACK of the neck? Good luck with finding a solution to your lump?
Yes, it could be a lymph node. Swollen lymph nodes are common in leukemia, including chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). They are often painless and can appear in areas like the neck, groin, or armpits. If the lump persists, grows, or is accompanied by other symptoms like fatigue, fever, or night sweats, consult your doctor Show Full Answer
