Does Anyone Have Trouble Breathing When They Stand Up And Move Around.

I have CLL and am on wait and watch but I have an enlarged spleen and liver and swollen lymph nodes in my neck and groin area among other places. I just have a problem doing anything because I get short of breath and very weak. Has any one else had this problem?

I did not wait until I had organ damage before starting my medication. I know there are many medications for the many different types of leukemias. I think doctors do not proscribe medication because of the expense ($15500/mth.) My medical staff requested a grant from Leukemia Society for co-payment ($3400.) All medication list ill affects but I had no ill affects from the medication. My medication Brukinsa use the BTK Inhibitor to inactive the bad B or T cells. I had 75K WBC and today I have 6.9K. There is no cure currently but medication "control" the bad affects of the illness such as damaged organs.I decided to take medication when I was at stage 0. I abandoned wait and watch and began "share & care" which means more answers and better care. I just returned to visiting the gym 3 times a week and my wife takes care of my nutrition. I may be 72 but I sure get around like I am in my 30's? I hope you get the medical care to resolve your health concerns? We are in the 21st century and there is no reason for people to not get good health care to help them have a happy and healthy life.
