I have had AML for over 55 years. Diagnosed in 1968 at Rosewell Park in Buffalo since back than there was only 3 hospitals that treateed it. I live in Bucks County PA.
Spent 5 straight years on Chemo because they didnt know when it was safr to stop.

Yes indeed you do. I forgot about 8 weeks of radiation between Cladribine and Vemurafenib. Best wishes for everyone. Charles Breiten

32 years with HCL on 3/23/23. Many relapses, more than I like to remember, Spleenectomy/ Interferon, 3 years PR, Pentostatin x2, 8 and 5 year CR, Pentostatin x 1 PR then Clabribine x1 CR, 1 year or less. Rituximab x8, 1 year or less CR, Clabriine x1 CR, 1 year or less, Vemurafenib low dose continually x five years, CR. Bendamustine x1 Rituximab x2, resistance did not continue clinical trial. Mekinist and Taflinar 2 years 9 months still responding CR. Several other treatments are available or in clinical trials. Do plan on living a wonderful life, even with the setbacks. I have and Will everyday.
