As I read thru some of these post’s I see a lot of folks taking specific leukemia medications. A lot of these medications are extremely expensive. Does Medicare cover these meds? Just curious. Hope all had a good today and hope we all have a better tomorrow.

I have a Lymphoma and Leukemia Society Financial Assistance Prescription CoPay grant for 1 year.I am on Medicare.I am on Venteclex for CLL. AARP UHC Prescription Part D said my co pay would be $2,000 a month for a bottle of pills I said "No Way!" and researched Patient Assistance cancer Prescription programs on Google.Got approved from LLS for 1 year big grant. My Oncology center also can do all this research for me .Additionally I prefer to be prepared and research all options out there myself. You have to pay a big co pay with Tier 5 Cancer pills so look for support.

Hell yeah we gotta laugh about it! Even tho your hospital vacation was expensive, at least you're still here smiling and making the most of each day! Beats the heck out of getting depressed, angry, and harboring on crap we have zero control over yanno. With your bill...have you applied for financial assistance?
With your approval of Medicare in March...there are different plans, etc etc. so you may want to talk to your doctor before then, to determine which Plan you may or may not need. For example, based on my brothers health (which is good, etc.) his doctor felt that he didn't have to have nor need all that Medicare was telling him. Like everything else in the health industry these days...all about profit for them. No need to pay them a high monthly premium if you don't need it right:):)
