Can CML Turn Into AML? Can These Leukemias Run In Families?

My son was 13 when he was diagnosed with CML. Almost unheard of in a kid. He's 26 now and has been on Sprycel the past 13 years. My sister developed AML two and half years ago and is currently having her SCT.
