Hi Kpbb, sorry for just getting back to you. I was diagnosed with CML a year ago today. I also am on Dasatinib. For the first few months, my hair was falling out all over the place and got thinner. But that only lasted a while and now it grows fast. Also, I went into remission in about 3 months on Dasatinib. And my SOKOL score was so high at first that I was almost considered AML. The following is from my oncologist (last visit notes):

"The patient has CML with an associated skin rash. He has advanced disease with high Sokol score, increased basophils and modestly increased blasts but not sufficient to call it accelerated phase. He was started on Dasatinib treatments.
From the standpoint of the CML, the patient is doing very well and was able to achieve very quickly a complete molecular remission. He has persistent though mild anemia and thrombocytopenia which is likely related to the treatments".

I hope this helps. Feel Better!

Thanks! I am in remission also and had my meds reduced to 50mg. I guess we live with the side effects to reach this point! Good for you, fabulous results.
