I am sorry I am new to leukemia I don’t know CLL as I have so far as I know CML. I had Covid about eight months ago when I came home from a cruise and it lasted a long time and my blood pressure which was high dropped real real lol and my doctor took me off my meds, except for one or two pills. I lost 10 pounds and my blood pressure remained low and also lost 10 pounds and never regained it . In the following few months after Covid my bones seemed to hurt if I just slightly bumped into something, and I noticed my gate when I walked was a little off. When I went for my next three month, check up my wbc was out of sight, and I was diagnosed after a bone marrow biopsy with CML and taking gleevec generic. A week after being diagnosed I got a respiratory illness that affected my lungs and I am finally getting over that after about six weeks. Rough going between the Gleevec and Respiratory bug but I think I turned the corner. Just getting a little tired and not very hungry, but I kind of force myself to eat every few hours. I’m a very active 83 years old or at least I was before the diagnosis and it the medication. Just thankful to be here at this age regardless and we’ll just enjoy each day I’m giving. Sorry I couldn’t help you with the CLL. It seems like there’s so much to learn the doctors of course are all about numbers and you really have to enlighten yourself and learning as much as you can so you know what questions to ask on the next appointment. Good luck having your questions answered.

Actually, I’m aware of the answers to my questions… Since Male Hem-Onc blaming on Female Hormones & dismissive of just about everything, I was looking for male perspective to show the SMART ASS!!!

Certainly! Here are the symptoms associated with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) as detailed in the knowledge base:

Common Symptoms of CLL:
- Night Sweats:
- Many people with CLL experience severe night sweats. This can be a major symptom before diagnosis and can be confused with menopause in women.
- Treatments for leukemia, such as chemotherapy, opioid pain medications, steroid medications, and tricyclic antidepressants, can also cause night sweats.

- Unintended Weight Loss:
- Significant weight loss is common. Some people lose weight due to a lack of appetite or because everything tastes like cardboard, making it hard to eat.

- Fatigue:
- General tiredness and fatigue are frequently reported. This can be due to anemia (low red blood cell counts), which is common in CLL.

- Shortness of Breath:
- This can be related to anemia or other complications of CLL.

- Fever and Chills:
- These are part of the "B symptoms" associated with CLL.

- Malaise:
- General feelings of discomfort or unease.

- Feelings of Fullness:
- This can occur after eating small amounts of food, often due to an enlarged spleen (splenomegaly).

- Bone Pain:
- Although not explicitly mentioned in the knowledge base, bone pain can be a symptom in some cases of leukemia.

Signs of CLL:
- Swollen Lymph Nodes:
- Lymphadenopathy, which may appear as lumps in the neck, armpit, or groin.

- Enlarged Spleen (Splenomegaly):
- Can cause pain or feelings of fullness in the upper left abdomen.

- Enlarged Liver (Hepatomegaly):
- Can cause symptoms including fatigue, abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting.

- Low Platelet Counts (Thrombocytopenia):
- Can cause easy bruising and bleeding problems, such as nosebleeds, bleeding gums, and heavy menstrual periods.

- Reduced Levels of Red Blood Cells (Anemia):
- Can lead to fatigue, weakness, dizziness, shortness of breath, or an irregular heartbeat.

Additional Notes:
- B Symptoms:
- This group includes fever, night sweats, and unexpected weight loss. These symptoms can come and go and are a common part of living with leukemia.

If you experience any of these symptoms, it is important to talk to your doctor for further evaluation and management.

Body aches are common with CLL. I know it might sound crazy, but to battle the fatigue, go to a gym regularly for weight training. The endorphins generated will help with fatigue. Medical marijuana has been known to help with body aches
