Calquence has brought me back to normal blood work so far one year later still in remission no side effects other than sore joints and muscles. A miracle in my book

I've been taking Calquence for almost 3 1/2 years. At first it was not looking to be the cure-all I'd been hoping. I've had my ups/downs, but most of my #'s have gone from really bad to a "normal" range! :). Fatigue, memory issues and lack of motion have been problems but very thankful to be alive!

Nope, not so far...I am on watch and wait but no chemo! I have to say...THANK GOD no chemo.πŸ˜‰ That stuff can cause other issues after you complete the treatment. It helps one thing but can😌 cause another. I think that is the challenge with leukemia, to stop the progression or manage symptoms you need treatment. Treatment is a gift, so being grateful you can afford treatment and live a country that offers so many treatment options is the gift in all of this. I hope they find the right treatment for you!

It's called Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. I believe that is because it never goes away. A very slow-moving cancer that increases white blood cells fighting the cancer thus reducing the red blood cells. Chemo pills keep blood more normal not a cure. Keep in mind slow moving and there are constantly new treatments evolving. Keep exercising and don't give up physically or mentally..
