I'm in the watch and wait CLL group, but that WBC has my doctor leaning towards treatment.

There is an admin in another group on FB CLL Survivors & Thrivers that has holistic recommendations. His name is Jay Blatt. He uses diet, supplements and exercise to help with modern meds. He shares all his knowledge freely.

If your gut is telling you to get a 2nd opinion, do it. The very first visit my oncologist offered 2nd opinion doctors in San Diego and Chicago where our sons live and in Charlotte NC 2 hours from us. That gave me added confidence that I had chosen the right doctor. Confident, knowledgeable physicians will offer this option without feeling slighted. Good luck! Keep us all posted. ❤️🙏

My WBCis 181,000 but really have no major symptoms .some enlarged nodes but they then go down … no pain .
Not sure if I should start treatment or continue wait and watch as I am able to maintain with a slower pace . Any thoughts …,

I would get a second opinion before agreeing to treatment. You can get a free one from the CLL Society telemedicine. If you aren’t experiencing symptoms WBC is the least of your worries.

That is exactly how the second opinion works. Good luck Alan!
