Do Doctors Typically Differentiate Between O-cll And M-cll?
I’m confused as to the difference between the two types of CLL and whether or not the differences change treatment approach
Too technical for me! I’ve never heard of it anyways. God bless ya!
Steve, When they tested a lymph node, the kappa and lambda light chain were polyclonal which indicates o-cll which means that the cll is not a single type of b-cell but rather heterogeneous. They could have been monoclonal which would indicate M-cll but I don’t know what this really means in simple terms of treatment.
I haven't heard this of differentiation between CLL types yet (I have CLL). Can you say more about what the "O" and "M" mean?
