Why Do We Have Low Energy. I Do NOT Think It Is From Anemia Since I Do NOT Have Anemia.

What does having to many white blood cells have to with low energy? This is an important subject to those who have problems with their white blood cells? I take medication and my white blood cells have returned to NORMAL range of 8400, but my energy level is low and when I do a task my breathing changes like I have trouble absorbing enough oxygen?

Robert507, I wish there was a better way to boost our fatigue level. I too finally have gotten my first reports in over two years where my RBCs, HGB and HCT and protein level are in the black. The TKIs really take a hit at our energy level and now even though my labs are better, my BCR-ABL is still not where it should be or where I want it. As my RBCs have gotten more normal, I do have a little more energy and I usually am anemic. My exercise routine and nutrition and REST have to be balanced and this is a task. So I think we have to deal with the fatigue as best we can.

You are amazing with your special anemia! I take B-12 and B-complex to give myself and energy boost. The thyroid glad provides energy enzyme the get the body going. I think Magnesium is important with stimulating cells to provide energy. I am glad that before I had CLL that I was healthy and exercising frequently every week. I hope you can find a substitute to boost your energy level to help you have a better life.

I really think it's just part of having leukemia. I've been in remission for years and I still have no energy.

Robert,
Just having a blood/lymph cancer is enough to cause fatigue and shortness of breath on exertion. Those are my main issues also but I learn to pace myself and not try to accomplish a lot at one time. It's like learning to mow sections of the yard at a time instead of trying to mow the entire yard at one time. I hope the scenario helps! šŸ˜Š

That's the million dollar question.
I'm always tired and am not anemic
