Yes, individuals with similar blood count numbers can be in a watchful waiting phase for conditions like Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) or Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma (SLL). Here are some key points from my knowledge base:

- Watchful Waiting: Many people with CLL/SLL go without noticeable symptoms for years and may not require immediate treatment. The decision to treat or to watch and wait is based on factors like genetic mutations in cancer cells and overall prognosis.
- Blood Counts: Regular monitoring of blood counts is crucial. For example, a low red blood cell count (RBC), hemoglobin, and platelets can indicate anemia or other issues, which are monitored closely.
- Progression Indicators: Signs that may indicate the need to start treatment include:
- Lymphocyte count doubling within six months
- Anemia (low RBC count)
- Thrombocytopenia (low platelet count)
- Symptoms like night sweats, fatigue, weight loss, and fever

In your case, the RBC count of 3.4 and hemoglobin of 11.3 are lower than normal ranges, which might indicate anemia. Regular follow-ups with your doctor are essential to monitor these levels and decide the best course of action.
