I Am On The Watch And Wait For CLL, What Lab Tests Do The Run Every 6 Months Does Anybody Know ?
Hey Doug, Iโve had CLL for going on 20 years, CLL is a blood cancer disease called leukemia basically, so bloodwork is what test is your going to take and watch the results numbers on every test ๐
Hope that helps my friend
Same as everyone says, blood work mainly tells them all they need to know! Watch for fatigue, itโs a big factor with leukemia! My first oncologist told me when I start feeling fatigued, watch any changes in your appetite or blood pressure was low he would start treatments!
Usually a CBC, BMP, and then specialized tests from there
Happy Birthday! You will probably have a CBC blood test every three to six months. Ask your doctor what symptoms you should watch for in case things flare up between your scheduled tests. And ask what you should do to stay as healthy as you can. Some people go many years before they need treatment. Nothing to panic about.
Christine5. We have a patient portal and all my labs are in there for me to see
