Has Anyone’s CLL/ Become “worse” And Not Responding To IVIG, Cancer Meds? We Are In The Process Of Obtaining New Diagnosis And Treatment,
Yeah I had a relapse a few years ago and was in hospital for over a week with pneumonia..it came on to me so fast
If chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) worsens and does not respond to treatments like IVIG or cancer medications, doctors may recommend switching to different medications. Here are some options:
- Chemotherapy: Drugs like cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan), fludarabine (Fludara), and chlorambucil (Leukeran)
- Targeted Therapy: Show Full Answer
This week my CLL relapsed husband caught COVID. His PCP Doctor tested immediately and sent him to ER. He has been hospitalized for the past week. Symptoms were severe and he collapsed and could not walk, and symptoms like a severe sinus infection, 103 temp, etc. Thankfully with excellent IV and medications 💊, medical monitoring, and treatment.
Thank you Martha Laux, LSW
